Ash Wednesday Worship – Postponed

Due to weather our Ash Wednesday Service will be postponed. We will include the option for receiving Ashes on Sunday, February 26th at 9:30 AM. Please be safe, and hope to see you on Sunday!
Every year we gather to remember. We remember that we are human, and that humans have very finite limits. We were created by the love of God out of the dust of the universe. And we gather together at the beginning of lent to mark the sign of the cross on our frail finite bodies and tell each other that we are dust. We also are reminded that we will return to the dust. It is only through the hope of the cross, the promise of the resurrection that we know that dust will not be the end of our story. We will be providing Ashes To Go at 12 noon, downtown Beloit, and we will gather for worship at 6:30 PM at Faith. Join us in remembering.
